Pantry text alerts
Pantry text alerts is the text-message program for restaurant owners and managers who use Pantry. It is optional. You never need to agree to texts to use Pantry.
What we text
- Alerts. Price changes on items you already buy from your distributor, cash back offers from food manufacturers that match your orders, the status of a claim you submitted, and account notices.
- Setup call. If you book a call with a Pantry specialist and give us a mobile number, we text you about that call: confirmations, reminders and time changes.
- Two-way conversation. You can reply to a message or text Pantry a question, and a Pantry team member texts you back.
Expect up to 8 alerts per month, plus replies to messages you send us. Message and data rates may apply.
How you opt in
We only text a mobile number that you type in yourself on pantry.ai. We never text purchased lists or numbers from any other source. There are two places to give your number:
1. The mobile step of Pantry sign-up (pantry.ai/app, after your savings estimate). To get alerts, you check the text-messages box. It is unchecked by default and is not required to continue.
2. The setup-call form (pantry.ai/start). The mobile number is used to text you about the call you are booking. Alerts need their own box, which is unchecked by default.
After you opt in to alerts, we send one confirmation:
Pantry: You're signed up for cash back and price alerts. Up to 8 msgs/month. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out.
How to stop or get help
Reply STOP to any message to opt out. You get one message confirming you are unsubscribed and nothing after that. Reply START to opt back in. Reply HELP for help, or email support@firstbite.io. Opting out of texts does not affect email or your Pantry account. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Your number
